APB Speaker Troy Carter Makes a Splash on 'Shark Tank'
05 Oct 2015
October 6 2015 | A number of high profile moguls will be appearing on this season of Shark Tank, including entrepreneur, investor and APB speaker Troy Carter. This month, he joins veterans Daymond John, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O’Leary, Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban as hopeful entrepreneurs pitch their products. In an interview with Forbes, Carter says he’s excited to join because of the show’s ability to reach Americans outside the Bay Area and New York hubs, specifically kids from less privileged or minority backgrounds.
Carter recently sat down with Evenpro.com to discuss his work as a music manager with Lady Gaga and other famous artists. In the interview, he gave tips on how artists and agencies can stay at the top of their game by creating direct relationships with consumers and establishing trust and authenticity in the industry. Carter also notes that businesses need to know who they are as a brand and what they stand for in order to select valuable and profitable partnerships.
A high school dropout who hit it big with multiple footholds in different industries, Carter and his pioneering approach to business have redefined what it means to be an entrepreneur. The founder and CEO of Atom Factory, an entertainment company at the nexus of music, technology, and media, Carter lays out the finer points of beats, bytes and big ideas in his compelling keynotes.
