The first woman to achieve the rank of four-star admiral and the first woman to be appointed to the position of Vice Chief of Naval Operations, APB speaker Michelle Howard was recently appointed to Joe Biden’s transition team to the Department of Defense. The retired Admiral joins more than 20 others making up the “Agency Review Team” for the Pentagon. This team will be responsible for reviewing current operations in the Department of Defense in order to ensure a smooth transfer of power.
