Biography
Diagnosed with brain cancer at 21, concert pianist and recovering advertising agency veteran Matthew Zachary is the Founder and CEO at Stupid Cancer, the largest charity comprehensively addressing young adult cancer. He is also the Founder of Instapeer, the first anonymous mobile matching and messaging platform for cancer patients and caregivers.
A leading healthcare innovator, disruptor and Chief Angry Officer of the young adult cancer movement, he writes for PM360 Magazine, US News, Huffington Post and Cure Magazine and serves as a strategic advisor to The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), Klick Health, Spencer's Gifts and the Society for Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology.
Matthew has a BA in Music, Computer Science and Sociology from Binghamton University and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and IVF twins, Koby and Hannah.
