Biography
Matthew Mercer (he/him) is a world renowned voice actor, storyteller, writer, and TTRPG game designer. As CCO and Game Master of Critical Role, Matthew has taken his players and audience on a journey through danger, magic, and intrigue entirely through his impressive abilities as a world builder.
He has voiced countless iconic characters in multiple media, such as Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Vincent Valentine in Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. As a Game Master, he has woven stories around the world, including in the sold-out Wembley Arena and the Greek Theatre.
Matthew has been a longtime advocate for the power of storytelling and diversity in stories, as well as the process of collaboration in creativity.
