Biography
Kat Lazo is a producer and host. The Colombian-Peruvian New Yorker has made a name for herself as the Internet's favorite no-nonsense Latina who tells it how it is—in front of and behind the camera.
Lazo transitioned her popularity as a YouTuber into a thriving career as a producer. As a video producer for the Latine digital platform Mitú, she's most known for her series The Kat Call. She developed and hosted the series, in which she debunked taboos and misconceptions about the Latine community.
Lazo also hosted several other series, including Thrillest's travel show Barrio USA where she explored the diverse Latine subcultures across the country. She also hosted Spotify’s exclusive flagship morning show The Get Up, updating millions of listeners on pop culture and global news.
For Universal Music, Lazo produced an untitled feature socio-political documentary about Reggaeton. Most recently she served as producer for the Paramount+ docuseries De La Calle, a travel series exploring the sounds of the Latine diaspora.
