Biography
Justine Simmons, star of MTV’s hit reality TV show Run’s House, is an accomplished author, jewelry designer, philanthropist, and most of all a loving wife and mother.
Simmons’ children’s book, God Can You Hear Me, was released in 2007 and has since graced its thousands of readers with its sweet and powerful message.
She and her husband, Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons of the pioneering musical trio Run DMC, are currently working on their latest literary collaboration titled Take Back Your Family. This book slated for release in 2008, will share with the world the Simmons’ inspiring emphasis on creating a close-knit, productive, and successful household. This emphasis on family values is echoed in the Simmons’ wildly popular Run’s House series, which is on its sixth season.
Simmons stunning new jewelry collection, called Brown Sugar, recently made its debut on HSN. Her work with various charitable endeavors such as Safe Horizon – an organization devoted to the victims of abuse and domestic violence – further showcases the enormous capacity for caring and kindness that she is so renowned for.
