Touchdown! The NASA Perseverance Rover Has Safely Landed on Mars

After its 292.5-million-mile journey from Earth, the Mars Rover has successfully landed on Mars on February 18th. The rover has been on a nearly 300-million-mile journey since it left Earth over 6 months ago. Perseverance has an important mission, searching for evidence of ancient life and studying Mars' climate and geology, and will collect samples that will eventually be returned to Earth by the 2030s.
