APB Speaker Brad Meltzer Creates New PBS Kids Show, "Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum"
18 Nov 2019
Long known as “America’s Historian” for his beloved History Channel shows, and as the best-selling author of over 10 thrillers, APB’s Brad Meltzer put his literary and historical expertise to use to create the popular series of children’s books, Ordinary People Change the World, based around inspirational historical figures. Now, the series has been turned into a new show, Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, airing at 9am EST weekdays on PBS Kids.
The legendary network that brought us Sesame Street and Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, PBS Kids now has Meltzer at the helm as executive producer of Xavier Riddle, a new show which explores the ubiquitous problems of childhood in a way that is equal parts fun and educational. Xavier, along with his sister and his best friend (who is actually a cartoon version of Meltzer, named Brad), travel back in time at the secret museum to consult with a historical hero, such as Rosa Parks or Hellen Keller, who offers them advice on their present-day dilemma.
