APB's Wes Moore & Geoffrey Canada Top the 2018 Nonprofit Power 50 List

APB speakers Wes Moore and Geoffrey Canada have been named some of the most influential people in New York’s nonprofit sector by City & State New York.
Moore is a New York Times best-selling author and CEO of The Robin Hood Foundation, one of the nation's largest nonprofits fighting poverty. Known for his remarkable personal story of overcoming adversity through education and embracing personal responsibility, he is now an influential leader who inspires all of us to see solutions instead of problems. Canada is a pioneering inner-city youth and education advocate who founded the Harlem Children’s Zone. Addressing such issues as poverty and violence, he was featured in Waiting for Superman and is a passionate advocate for education reform.
