APB’s Robert Kuttner to Release New Book "Can Democracy Survive Global Capitalism?" in April
27 Mar 2018
As one of America’s leading political economists, APB speaker Robert Kuttner explains in his newest book, Can Democracy Survive Global Capitalism?, how global capitalism—rather than technological advances or immigration—is to blame for wage stagnation. He navigates these polarizing arguments with a historical analysis of American economic regulations.
Launching his book tour in April, Kuttner will be featured on Terry Gross’s NPR show "Fresh Air" on April 11th. In addition, he will be promoting his book at Harvard, the Cambridge Public Library, WBUR, the Boston Athenæum with Jim Braude, and as the inaugural speaker in a new series at the Boston Public Library.
