Super Soul 100 Features Three APB Speakers

Oprah Winfrey Network announced the first ever Super Soul 100, “a collection of 100 awakened leaders” that includes APB speakers Troy Carter, Maxine Bédat and Tim Shriver. In a press release, Oprah Winfrey discussed the significance behind the list: “Each one of these individuals is uniquely connecting the world together with a spiritual energy that matters…These inspired leaders are using their gifts and voices to help elevate humanity.”

Troy Carter, in the Entrepreneur category, has taken the entertainment and technology fields by storm throughout his career. The founder and CEO of Atom Factory, Carter is best known for his work bringing Lady GaGa to fame. Most recently, Troy joined Spotify as its global head of creator services. Maxine Bédat, in the Entrepreneur category, is the co-founder of Zady, one of the first online retailers to integrate commerce, rich media content and social media. Throughout her career in international law and advocacy, Bédat has worked in the UN General Assembly and created the Bootstraps Project, aiding artisans in developing countries. Tim Shriver, in the Givers category, is the Chairman of Special Olympics, serving over 4.4 million athletes and families in 170 countries around the world.
